Did you ever stop to ask yourself…
Is God calling me to a unique purpose in life?
At Baptism and Confirmation, the Holy Spirit bestowed upon you specific charisms—supernatural gifts given to you so that God’s love and grace can reach others through your life. Your calling is not a generic assignment; it is a work of love tailored specifically to who you are. The Called & Gifted Discernment Process is a warm, personal invitation to open the door of your heart, listen to where the Spirit is moving, and give your joyous “YES” to Christ’s mission.
As you step into this discernment, we invite you to ponder and pray on three core questions:
What is God asking of you in your life?
What is He asking of you in this time?
What is He asking of you in this place?
An Ongoing Journey of Accompaniment
Discernment is never meant to be done alone. Whether you join us for our 6-week Small Group Study or attend our Live Workshops with Fr. Francis Ching, this process goes beyond classroom learning. It is a path of spiritual reflection, small group fellowship, and personal 1-on-1 accompaniment designed to help you recognize how the Holy Spirit has gifted you to tend to the person right in front of you.
Here at St. Patrick’s, we firmly believe that Prayer is the Work—all the rest is the fruit of prayer! Come discover the specific ways God wants to work through you, refresh your faith, and help our parish family bear lasting fruit together.
“I look forward to accompanying you on this journey of discernment. May our dear Lord continue to bless you and keep you in His Good and Tender Care!”
— Margaret Jakus, Director of Community Engagement
